Anxiety

One thing I wanted to share with you guys today. For anyone who may be suffering panic attacks and great fear, as I did in my early 20s due to trauma and abuse, the fears can feel absolutely terrifying and realistic, but there's usually no real danger. That's because distorted thoughts are not realistic. Ones cause anxiety. If there's one message I want to get across, is it? Is this one? Read that again. Distorted thoughts, not realistic ones cause anxiety

I want to share with all of you today, especially for anyone suffering from panic attacks and intense fear.

In my early 20s, I was there too, overwhelmed by panic and paralyzing anxiety brought on by past trauma and abuse.

These fears can feel absolutely terrifying and realistic. They did for me.

What I learned is this: Anxiety is caused by DISTORTED, unrealistic thoughts, NOT realistic thoughts.

Read that again. That sentence is very powerful and true. Let it sink in and don't just skim past it.

Our minds trick us, amplifying fears that don’t match reality. It’s a powerful cycle, but recognizing that our fears aren’t based in truth is a first step toward breaking free.

So, if there's one message I want you to take away, let it be this: Distorted thoughts—not realistic ones—cause anxiety.
Real healing begins when we learn the tools and exercises to make this fear subside when we are experiencing it. It worked for me and will work for you as well.

I've helped many individuals do just that in my weekly sessions, along with my 90-day course.
